SUMMARY
  1. Active partnership with about 20 projects in Indonesia, India, Ecuador, Columbia, Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil, Ukraine and Germany.

A highlight was getting the approval of BMZ for a 4 year project on combating Malaria in Kalimantan. The project has a total volume of about 250,000 Euros of which YUM and ourselves have to finance 25%.

  2. In the area of Public Relations and Advocacy we held a very successful weekend seminar as part of celebrating our 25 th anniversary with a number of workshops on various aspects of Susila Dharma. We were able to get external funding for the seminar so that it didn't burden our budget.

  3. In the field of publications we produced 2 issues of our magazine Umschau (Outlook), 4 issues of our newsletter Einblick (Insight) and weekly issues of our brief office newsletter Susi-Woche (Susi-Week) which keeps our extended team informed about what is going on.

2008 GOALS

  • Publications: Susi-Woche, 2 Umschau. 5 Einblick, website

  • BMZ-Project applications: Rural Development Project, Anisha, India

  • Project visits: Brazil, Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, India, Indonesia, Ukraine

  • To learn about and apply LFA (Logical Framework Approach) to our project planning and monitoring starting with the BMZ project proposal for Anisha rural.

  • Events: AGM in October, monthly Team meetings, presentations at Zonal meeting and Subud Congress, presence at various other events.

NETWORK ASSISTANCE

We would like as ever to work as closely as possible with both SDIA and other SD Nationals in our SD work. This applies in particular to project support outside of Germany.
