Project Information
Introduction: Anisha is working in four slums of Bangalore Central City i.e. Old gudadahalli, vandimode, Bakshi garden and Ganeshagudi. Pre primary class for 3-6 years old children from 10.30-12.30 pm on six days a week and also nutritious foods provided on all working days, supplementary class for school going children from first to tenth standard, health support for needy children, savings and credit for women’s, raising local resources, accessing government benefits for the community etc.
Target population: 150 families

| 2. Supplementary class |

| 2.1. ANISHA motivating and encouraging the students who move out of supplementary class after completing 10th class to continue their education by supporting moral and financially. |

| 3. Medical support | For 56 children treatment was given both in government and private hospital, in this particularly 7 dog bite case, remaining, fever, headache, chest pain, allery, appendices etc and for 32 children first aid was given at ANISHA for simple ailments. And 6 women from self help groups also benefited medical support for uterus. |
| 4. Exposure visits | 26 children from pre primary class was taken for Makala Koota (children’s park) for exposure visits, children played in different games and had nice food and enjoyed the visits |
| Child labour class | 12 children admitted in government hostel for further continuation of education from first std to fifth standard who were drop outs from school. |
